We also contact other businesses in the same industry sector, or people known to us who have expressed an interest in receiving information about investment opportunities.
The sale of a business in either liquidation or receivership is a quick process. Typically the business is traded for less than a month while a purchaser is found.
Our marketing efforts invite expressions of interest before a confidentiality agreement is executed. A sales information memorandum (SIM) is then sent to all interested parties, providing information such as:
- A description of the business
- Copies of the past six months GST returns
- Financial performance statistics
- Staff structure details
- A copy of the lease for the premises
- A list of assets for sale
